Sacred Activism: Listening to the Call

Every day, the news delivers blow after blow: Our most vulnerable communities are being torn apart, the earth is being ravaged, and our so-called leaders are dismantling the crucial anchors of our democracy and freedoms.

What are we to do?

How are we to be?

Numbness leads to apathy on a personal level and frustration leads to divisiveness within groups working toward justice.

By cultivating deeper relationships to ourselves, each other, and Spirit, we can re-acquaint ourselves with the inspiration that will nourish us as we build a more equitable and compassionate world.

Through contemplative practice, reflective discussion, and relational exercises, we will begin to discover how to remain present to our heartache, engage our justice work with more creativity and resilience, and strengthen the movement by building community.

Would you spend time with us this Wednesday at Habitat Brewing?

Program from 7 to 9pm.
Free; donations welcome so that Habitat can continue hosting community events.
